коммутатор cisco 3524 и битые порты

Вобщем попала ко мне в лапы сея замечательная штуковина с весьма долгой и запутанной судьбой. У девайса не работают пять портов (горят желтым в режиме "stat", линка на них нет) При загрузке киска ругается примерно так:
POST FAILURE: front-end post: FastEthernet0/24: C3500XL POST FAILURE: looped-back packet not received
IOS об интерфейсе думает следующее:

Вопрос собстно в том, хардварная-ли это проблема, и как в этом случае попытаться оживить порты?
